Club Desi – Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

Club Desi allows customers to request cancellations under certain conditions. However, all cancellations are subject to the restaurant’s discretion, as food preparation may begin immediately after an order is placed.

2. Cancellation Window

• Takeaway Orders:

o You may request cancellation within 5 minutes of placing your order via the app.

o If the restaurant has already started preparing your food, the cancellation request may be declined at the restaurant’s discretion.

• Delivery Orders (Where Available):

o You may request cancellation within 5 minutes of placing your order via the app.

o Once preparation or dispatch begins, cancellations are not possible unless the restaurant agrees.

3. How to Cancel

• Use the in-app cancellation feature under “My Orders.”

• If the cancellation window has passed, you can contact the restaurant via the app to request cancellation.

• Club Desi does not guarantee cancellations or refunds—it depends entirely on the restaurant’s decision.

4. Refunds for Cancellations

• If the restaurant accepts your cancellation before preparation starts, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

• If the restaurant declines the cancellation, no refund will be issued.

• For disputes, escalate to Club Desi at admin@clubdesi.com.au with your Order ID and details.

5. Exceptions

• Orders cannot be cancelled after pickup for takeaway or after delivery is completed.

• Club Desi reserves the right to refuse cancellations for fraudulent or excessive requests.
